Apparently there is a style of haircut called ‘Gothic Romance’ wherein those who apply this strange animosity are described as “sinister yet beautiful”. I am not sure I’ve ever witnessed hair that was sinister in nature. There are hairstyles that are wrong and against the confines of nature itself. Take the mullet for instance or the perm. (There is a gentleman who continues to perm his hair that works in the building where my office is located. I’m almost constantly afraid his hair will leap at my face and claw my eyes.)

Really though…sinister? Like Destro? What constitutes an actual act of endangerment by hair? Perhaps that is a style consumes by spikes, a bison foot and a birdcage with Bobcat Goldthwait. I’m not sure. Whatever it means….we’re definitely in for a treat. For it appears that the world is somehow still fascinated by the word “Gothic” and for now anyone outside the norm is comparably in style by proxy.

Thank goodness we are still cool. I was beginning to chew my black lacquered nails and get sick from the matte finish.
