So I mentioned at some point, some time ago that the Peoples Republic Of Europe were releasing a new album called Babylon…imminently. Chances are good it will be available overseas before we get it Stateside. Vendetta Music is responsible for domestic distribution and they’re not the best at offering timetables. Typically you can expect…“It’s coming!..It’s coming!!!…Hey! It came out weeks ago how come you haven’t bought it yet?!”
However they have hinted at a March release. With many small, independent labels that’s as good as you can expect. If they were to give an exact date and offer a preorder saying you’ll get it by the release date you’d be lucky to see it within a month after said release date anyway. That’s just the way it goes with these organizations. And I can sympathize (y’know how many albums have already been released that are stacked on my desk awaiting a review?! No, you don’t and you don’t want to. I’ll get to them all eventually).
In the meantime, here’s some great video action to tide you over:
“Wolfpack” in its entirety, set to some lame video game CGI crap, or something –
“Nicolae Carpathia Died For Your Sins,” which you can download for free here -
Aaand just for gits and shiggles here’s a classic video for “Demolisher,” just because it’s fun to hear stompy, unrelenting fucking Powernoise while watching mammoth tornadoes destroy everything in their paths –
Tracklist for Babylon:
1. Ubermensch
2. Wolfpack
3. New Babylon
4. Geo-engineering
5. White Wall Of Death
6. LHC
7. Dirty Distorted Dancehall
8. Wardance
9. To Prove A Point
10. Nicolae Carpathia Died For Your Sins
11. Bow For Xenu
From what I’ve heard thus far this sounds like a really, really great album. I’m quite looking forward to hearing it in its entirety.

Nothing, yet. The new album is due sometime next month. But they’ve put out a free single which I liked to here.

I was referring to your reviewers-burden statement of: “y’know how many albums have already been released that are stacked on my desk awaiting a review?! No, you don’t and you don’t want to. I’ll get to them all eventually.”
