You probably don’t care unless you happen to be one of our overseas readers but Infest, the long running Electro Festival located in West Yorkshire, UK, has officially canceled its 2009 incarnation due to a scheduled major refurbishment of the facilities at University of Bradford Union. While organizers were struggling to find a replacement venue it just didn’t pan out so it was decided to scrap the whole thing for the year. There are some that will travel around the US and even into Canada for festivals like this but I can’t say I know anyone who makes the leap across the pond. It does seem unfortunate for electronic fans everywhere as a gathering like this is always exciting. Hopefully it will return next year bigger and better than before.
