DTC faves Angelspit have formulated their own record label. They’re calling it “Black Pill Red Pill” Records and it will service all areas of the world that aren’t already handled by Metropolis (US) and Darkest Labyrinth (Japan). There isn’t a website or much more in the way of information yet but their first order of business will apparently be a digital only remix album based on their magnificent 2008 Blood Death Ivory release (review), due in April.

Beyond music, Black Pill Red Pill will be an “Art Factory..this multidisciplinary label will enable Angelspit to publish their art with complete creative freedom. (It) will foster collaboration between video, visual arts, fashion and music, extending Angelspit’s creative output into new artistic areas. Expect something different from each Black Pill Red Pill release.”

It’s going to be interesting to see what DestroyX and ZooG come up with in this regard. Their art is typically just as fun as the music.
