So I’ve repeatedly been checking in with Vendetta Music searching for updates regarding the release of The Peoples Republic Of Europe’s new album, Babylon which I believe was originally slated for a May release. That was pushed back to June and then on to July.

Guess what? We are now in the month of July. Still no Babylon. Damn it.

So, instead, we have Higgs Foton, a tPROE side project that originally went under the moniker Kratarknathrak. Fortunately they decided to change the name so as to make it easier to discuss this incarnation. Sure, it’s easy to blog about Kratarknathrak but just try pronouncing it. “Hey, what’s that you’re listening to? I dig it!” “Kraka…kranitz…krapperatchik…”

Anyway, Higgs Foton is nothing like tPROE. Instead of heavy, pounding Industrial you get dark, ambient techno with a melodic edge.
