Ménage(rie) à trois

So we make no secret of our love for the Tympanik Audio label here at CastleDTC. The output over the past couple years has been tremendous and each release pushes the artistic envelope even further. Today Tympanik releases a trio of fine albums you should be looking into.

[Haven]‘s Plastic is a gorgeous debut from this Polish sound sculptor. The music is mysterious and biting, the moods always feel hauntingly genuine.

dISHARMONY‘s Evolution is just that, another bold step in this Slovakian Dark Electro duo’s repertoire. Ominous and foreboding yet curiously entrancing the music on this release manages a delicate balance between gorgeous and grotesque. If you’ve somehow managed to remain unfamiliar with this act’s work you seriously need to check them out now.

Autoclav1.1‘s fifth album, Where Once Were Exit Wounds is one I’ve been hotly anticipating for some time and it’s certainly a lush and striking addition to Tony Young’s enduring legacy of beautifully thoughtful compositions. If you have a CD wish list you should be bumping this selection to the top of your list.

Now get shopping. Support great artists and the great music they’re making.
