So without any fanfare or even much warning the Alter Der Ruine side-project, Dust Is Noise, has released an album. Sort of. I mean, it’s not “out” out but it is available on iTunes for about ten bucks.
Head on over here to download a copy. Eventually, at some point, somewhere down the road (who knows when?) there will be a digipak CD release but details are sparse considering the Vendetta Music site has provided nothing but the promise that they’re “relaunching soon!” for quite some time and a full-fledged DiN site is also…you guessed it! “Under construction.” What is it with this label and all their artists endlessly working on their websites? I’d settle for someone updating their fucking MySpace page with some details like people used to do back in the goddamn day.
Anyway, Dust Is Noise actually does have a MySpace page that they update every six months, on average. Keep checking back and I’m sure you’ll hear news of the new album by next summer. In the meantime you can groove to their hard synth pop which is actually really fun.
Sometimes I get the feeling that acts don’t actually care about selling a great deal of CDs.
