-hate Cruxshadows
-think most "new synthpop/futurepop" is sterile eurotrash piffle.
-think almost all powernoise is self-indulgent junk, and is masturbation material for geeks who wouldn't know quality if it gave them a rectal exam.
-was so bored seeing Combichrist, I wandered out of the venue in New Orleans to hang out and watch stray cats picking through garbage.
-wouldn't wear New Rocks if you paid me.
-thought the whole "perky goth" thing was just a code word for "over-affectionate drunk."
-I think Nightmare Before Christmas is on okay movie. But just okay.
-haven't worn makeup for about 8 years. Think I'd look like an idiot now if I did.
-never listened to metal in my earlier years, and am not going to start now.

1. My first concert was Prince on the 'Purple Rain' tour. (granted, it was just because my folks couldn't find a sitter, and were escorting my sister to the show. But I still listen to him these days when the mood strikes me.)

2. Eminem cracks me up, and I can sing along to most of his songs. ;) (Recloned & I even did karaoke to one of his tracks whilst REALLY drunk at Triple Rock once.)

3. I think Pink Floyd is one of the earliest innovators of electronic music & still like them to this day. (and no, I was never a pot smoking hippie)

4. The only radio I could stand before I found my love for electronic music was Dr. Demento. (thank god for the advent of internet radio...)

5. For me, 'goth/ethereal/emo ' music is usually only good for one of two things... falling asleep to, or f*cking to...

1- you're fucking old! (j/k)

2- see enc. entry "Drok" for sing-along on "Bon Jovi" and "Kiss". it's like they're part of my genetic material or something. I feel like I need to make a ninja army to keep myself from breeding.

3- I love Pink Floyd, and will ramble about them ad nauseum, unless someone gets me a drink.

4- I'll make a kwip about that later.

5- If you fuck like you sleep- well... *cough*. yeah.

Post subject:  The crimes

-I insist on having a career where I have to talk to people.
-I enjoy Rocky Horror
-I don't smoke
-I'm not wearing any black as I post this

But I still maintain a propensity for violence and whiskey.

* The concerts I've seen say a lot: The Cure and The Beach Boys? Tool and Harry Connick Jr.? NIN and Seal? (I seem to have frightened people at every one of those shows...)
* Not a huge fan of many so-called "Gothic" music groups, including Lacuna Coil, Cruxshadows, and Combichrist (what's with the letter "C" and these bands anyway?)
* Never saw the movie The Hunger
* Never put on make-up outside a stage production (excepting the occasional application of clear mascara)
* I've always been, and continue to be, very athletic (not much overlap between athletes and Goths, in many people's minds)
