Will you please check your spelling before you post? I promise I'll take you so much more seriously if you do. I'd love to discuss death, but respectfully and intelligently.

Drawn and quartered.

But do so slowly so as to get the most out of the experience.

I've always thought it might be entertaining to see someone stab a pair of scissors into their ears, destroying their cerrebellum, and therefore sense of balance, and then stagger around like a drunken sailor for a while. . . .

It's not really suicide, but it sure as hell beats playing ping pong.

The most painful thing I have ever done is listen to Hansons Mmbop. Thats all they say is 'Mmbop' The song isn't even about anything! I just...I...don't understand...

most painful?

I saw a slide once of a Minnesotan bachelor farmer who had put down an aluminum cake pan on the floor of his workshop to catch the blood and managed to saw through his neck almost completely with a handsaw. No shit. The medical examiner thought it had to have been homicide at first, without seeing the context. What a determined guy.

trust me, life gets better once you're out of middle school. wait it out.

Okay I'd say that one definitely tops some sort of list.

But yeah, middle school always ends up being the worst three (two, depending on what middle school you go to) years of education. There's just something about it...

I would think that being slowly crushed might not feel too good.

we all think about death... yes even the non-goths! 8O And even we write poems on it.

{escerpt from "Another soul"}

"...I place the knife in my hands taking in the weight of its meaning... yet I cannot succumb to the steels embrace.

There is yet another soul out there I must touch."

Hmmm, do I reply with the 'witty & salacious' one-liner or do I give a serious reply to someone who may actually be contemplating an early departure? The tone of the posting isn't really in the 'cry for help' realm, but I don't want to come off as yet another 'hip & trendy, irreverent goth'. (And isn't that just as counter-goth culture as can be?)

So, for lack of a better response, I'm going to go with simple logic: In my youthful pain & arrogance, I held the knife against my wrist several times, but overcame the temptation with a hefty dose of arrogance & a strong temptation to gamble with my life. I figured I could always hit the 'exit' button, but decided that the odds of something interesting happening to me were far greater than the odds of purging any pain that I'd endured.

And I was correct... mostly. I went on to endure far greater ordeals, but was rewarded with far more bizarre tales & experiences than I could have imagined.

From my own path, I'd advise that you'd be better off to keep on keepin' on, because unless you're already on the path to death's door, continued existance will always prove to be more interesting (and probably amusing, due to peoples inability to use logic...) than you could imagine.

I *so* wish that I had bought a Nissan Sentra instead of my Ford. Those Nissans hang in there! I've seen so many rustbucket Nissans b/c their insides don't wear out.

Re: suicide. Why do you want to kill yourself? Look past whatever is making you hurt now, and imagine a place or time where you can live on your own terms. Then do what you can to get there.

I decided long ago that I don't want to give *anyone* the satisfaction of thinking that they beat me down so much that I gave up my own life rather than face them.

If someone on the street came after you with a knife, you'd probably fight back or run away. Think about it.

Then wash them off, because dried spit smells funny.
