Hi everyone. My name is Sarah and I will be 19 in June. I am obviously new to this site. I am excited to be a member of this forum and I hope to possibly make some new friends and have a good time here.
I spend most of my time listening to music, writing poetry and reading. I am shy, but I don't let it keep me from making new friends or having a good time.

Welcome to Gothling.
If you like, you can post some of your poetry in the Writer's Workshop thread :)

I like a lot of different bands. I don't listen to just on genre of music, it depends on my mood. I listen to a lot of metal, and stuff, but I don't have a favorite band or anything like that.
Poets? Well, I am really into poetry and I will probably post some poems on this site. I like all kinds of poets. I'm not familier with the names of poets, but one of my favorites is Edgar Allen Poe.

I have been to some California Goth boards and the people were really stupid. I actually have a friend that lives in Minnesota and he told me to check out some Minnesota Goth boards and I ended up here.

So where do you live out in CA? I was just in LA a couple of months back and really liked it there. It is so nice and sunny while, if you lived here, you'd be dealing with 10 degree tempature and cloudy all day right now.

BTW: Welcome to Gothling!

I live in southern Cali in Salinas. Its north of LA. Sometimes it is nice and sunny, but we are getting ready for a big rain storm....it was cold all week and keeps getting worse.

Thaks for the welcome from all of you. This is an awesome board and everyone is really nice here.

Salinas, isn't that where a lot of the John Steinbeck novels take place?

God, I used to love Steinbeck, I ought to read him again and see if I still do.

Yeah, we have the Steinbeck library here with all of his books. We also have th Steinbeck museum where they show movies form his books and pictures of him.

I enjoy reading his work, I just recently got into his writing and I think it is great.
