Post I'm new
Hi, I've been lurking for a couple of years or so and finally just wanted to say hi to everyone. I love how you guys stay on top of all the latest events etc. This is a great place to come to and find out what's going on in the cities. Hope to see some of you at the local concerts :-)

Welcome to the non-lurkiness.

What do you do in between concerts?

Thanks for stepping out of the shadows and saying hi. Are you new in the area? Or are you around and lurking in person as well?

:)

Thanks for the welcome. I've been living in the cities for about 4 years now. I've been around - mostly at GZ. I used to dance there for a few months, left the country for some time, and have just been way too busy with work to go regularly since I came back. You've probably seen me, but I'm not the kind of person who'll walk up to others. So I guess you're right - I've been lurking in person, too. ;-)

Work way too much, study way too hard, take care of my family, socialize, listen to music, surf the web, the usual...

BTW, have any of you guys bought the new Combichrist CD? Am the the only one who's strangely obsessed with "Shut up and swallow"? Oh well... ;-)

welcome, Graelien! what a pretty name. pretty avatar, too, but they tell me we're supposed to keep them to 100 x 100 pixels.

Since I *am* the kind of person who is likely to just come over and talk at a club, let me know if you'd like to meet up or something!

I'll probably be at GZ tonight. Is anyone else going? (I guess I should move this to the "event planning" area now, huh?...)

Heckyeah, I'm like part of the furniture there. Generally a much smaller crowd than, say, a Saturday, but 10X better music (assuming you like industrial and want to hear something different every week).

Note that there's already a thread for GZ Fridays that you're welcome to add to. (The moderator is a real bitchnazi about redundant/duplicate threads. ;)

Yes, I had a good time. I missed Mistress Jean upstairs, but the music was unusually good for a Saturday...
