Post Who would have thought...
...that you could use the internet to meet people who aren't thousands of miles away? :P

Fun fact about me: I love dance music, but never dance or go to clubs. I'm just not very social, but I'll chat about music. As far industrial(ish) genres go, I love powernoise, rhythmic noise, TBM, and aggrotech (not fond of the name, but I guess that's what people call it). If you want to see specifics, I do have a last.fm account: http://www.last.fm/user/IAmTheClaw
Anyway, nice to meet you all, and who knows, maybe one day, I'll get off my ass and meet some of you in person. Also, I love cartoons.

I make music too: https://soundcloud.com/robotsondrugs

Howdy and welcome! Even though you're probably not interested in the club nights, if you have any interest in live shows by bands of those genres, rest assured they'll be posted in the Event Horizon forum if we hear about them.

I rarely ever see any artists I'm interested in come through the area, unfortunately. Apparently, it's a huge pain in the ass for artists from overseas to tour the US. I do follow the artists I like on Twitter (the ones that are on it, anyway) and Kilted Farmer. Twitter is also good for pestering Caustic.
I'll definitely have to check out the local artists.

Current cartoons: Phineas and Ferb, Archer
Old cartoons ('90s cartoons were awesome): Daria, Animaniacs, Sheep in the Big City, Eek! The Cat, Johnny Bravo
That's not an exhaustive list, just my favorites.

I should get into the old Adult Swim cartoons again (the good stuff like Sealab 2021 and Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law, not the crap they've been spewing out the last few years).

We're automatically friends now. Unless you hate Dangermouse, which would make us automatically former friends.

The name vaguely rings a bell. I'll check it out.

Not seeing Promidol on the local bands page here or on last.fm or in a Google search... :-?

Yeah, it helps to spell the name correctly. :P
Anyway, not bad. A bit mellow for my tastes, but certainly not boring.

BTW, rskm1, I did sample Eek! The Cat. He's after me...

Probably going to do one for The Terrible Thunderlizards that asks that all-important question: "When does the hurting stop?".
