broken air conditionings suck. but at least now i know its broken because the lightning melted the power wire. now i have to have the crappy restoration company that missed it the first time come back and tear out my walls tracing the fried wire back to my furnace to replace it. by the time i move out, damn near every wall is going to have been replaced. thankfully, not on my dime. i love my home insurance. still hate lightning.

That's happened to me too. And one time, when I was still living with my ex, someone with a thick accent (eastern Indian, maybe?) called, was told he got a wrong number, and he rattled off our phone number and asked if that was right and I said yes, so then he didn't believe it was a wrong number and wanted our address.

I've started doing this. But first tell them "can you hang on for just a second?" Then set it down and walk away...

People who feel the need to speak three steps above everyone around them to make themselves feel important. Anyone that can talk like their a smarty-pants should also be able to speak in laymans terms to better get their point(s) across, Otherwise it's like your speaking Chinese to a group of French people. It's not impressing anyone it's confusing them.

A couple of neighbor guys who are in their late 30's decided to play with their stupid-_ss toy. A 4-wheel ATV, they revved it up, drive it around, stand around with beer cans in their hands. (like KingoftheHill) And they do it for a good 2 hrs. DORKS!!!

I remember Texas. . . . .
Barely. . . . . . .
I think, though, that you kind find the sort of people portrayed in Arlen just about anywhere in the world.
Or at least here in Kansas.
Minus the friendly community setting.
Was King of the Hill actually supposed to be a comedy?
I always thought it was a tragedy about decline and destruction of the American Family through apathy and incompetence.
What reaallly get me is when people blame you for their own inability to say "no".

I have to say that my Uber pet peeve is when customers come into my store talking on their cell phones, or with headphones on. They don't say a single word to me, just throw their money down on counter, pick up their item and leave. After numerous attempts trying to communicate with this person, I give up, and don't say a word. When leaving the store, they always remove the headphones or phone, and make some dimwitted remark about how I should treat customers better.
I think I need a bucket of throwing rocks for these people.

Most likely from stress related. When I was going through divorce, job loss and so on. Damn, my face was covered with stubborn acne.
Right now, crystal clear!! Me love my "Clinque". I know that's expensive stuff, I can't have other brand.

Yeah, what's the deal with that. I feel lied to. I remember in Junior High when they gave us the whole "your body will begin changing" sex-talk to us, acne was supposed to stop when you reached adulthood. Lies.

yeah.. there's another pet peeve... parents who use the media (tv, games. etc.) as a babysitter, then blame the babysitter for not censoring itself.
I understand single parents don't have a lot of time and resources, but two adults should be able to juggle schedules to make some time to spend with their children (or reconsider having kids to begin with). I have no time.. I also have no children after 4 years of marriage.

When someone tried to convince me some drug are not bad. While I'm trying to say "I'm done, cannot be near it" due to bad experience in the past.
To me as drug-free is good for me.

More particularly I hate cutting it.
So very very much.
Why can't people just buy astro turf!?
Or rocks!?
Or do what some of more intelligent mexican american friends are doing. .
Pooring concrete where the lawn would normally be!?
I mean
WHY GRASS??

If you ever come to Eau Claire, I'll show you what an astroturf lawn looks like after a few years... it's not that pretty.

I know, Long Pig, it isn't pretty.
But I rarely look at my lawn anyway. . . .
Maybe I could just plant a whole lot of trees!
No grass, just tree next to tree next to tree.
It would probably be extremely expensive, what with watering costs and everything.
But it would be worth it.
So very, very, worth it.
hhhmmm... ..
New on today's hate list is local radio.
God may be in it, but I ain't!

Move to the northwest ~ I think there are about twelve lawnmowers in the entire region. No one really mows. It just sort of works out that way. People accept that things become overgrown and it's kind of nice. But then, most yards are something of a tangle of trees and plants and vines with a carpet of moss. Hell, moss grows directly over asphalt out there. Pretty little lawns? Bah. Your neighbors? If they care, just imply that they should consider moving to Ohio. :p

Having to get outta bed on a Monday and 1/2 conciously get ready for work.. Felt like a drunk walking around bouncing off walls. Why can't work just be whenever I wake up to whenever I fall asleep, yet being able to do whatever I want in between?? lol
